FAQs: AAAP Events

Can anyone attend a AAAP event?
AAAP Continuing Education Days and other AAAP events are exclusive to AAAP members. If you are not a current AAAP member but would like to attend one of these events, you will first need to become a AAAP member before purchasing your ticket. Anyone can become a AAAP member – it is an easy process that takes just a few minutes online.

Can I attend a AAAP Continuing Education Day without pre-purchasing a ticket?
It is always recommended to purchase your ticket as early as possible in advance. Capacity can be limited and purchasing your ticket is the only way to confirm your place. AAAP Continuing Education Days often include printed notes and these are generally guaranteed for attendees who purchase their ticket at least 3 days before the event.
* If you are unable to purchase your ticket in advance: please contact info@aaap.org.au as early as possible to let us know of your intention to attend, so you can be included in any relevant communications.
* If you attend a AAAP Continuing Education Day without a pre-purchased ticket: you will be asked to purchase your ticket online when you arrive. If you are not a current AAAP member you will also be asked to purchase membership in order to participate in the event. If it is not possible to complete your payment online you will be asked to provide cash payment on the same day.

I have purchased a ticket to attend a Continuing Education Day – do I need to bring a printed ticket or other proof of purchase?
No, you do not need to bring any proof of purchase on the day. Once you have purchased your ticket, you will receive an email to confirm your place. This confirmation email is just for your records.
